Abramov Lev
Abramov Lev(was born in 1911) - chessmaster USSR since 1940, international
arbiter since 1957, vice-prezident ICCF since 1959. Engineer-builder. The member
of Union of journalists USSR. Moscow,"Spartak".
The participant of some championships of Leningrad(the best result in 1939 -3-6),
Moscow(in 1958-5-6), semifinals of championship of USSR. In 1940 he won the match
with Kan(+2,=6).
Since 1956 he was the chief of chess department of All-Union sport comittee. He was
elected the responsible secretary on constituent plenum of Chess Federation
of USSR(1959), since 1961 - vice-prezident.
